Penn State is on Twitter, delivering University news 140 characters at a time.
Penn State entered the Twittersphere in 2010. More than 20,500 tweets later, @Penn_State has amassed a following of nearly 149,000 by delivering campus news and school spirit via text, images and video.
The Mascot Hall of Fame-nominated Nittany Lion is also roaming Twitter, celebrating Penn State achievements across multiple areas, especially athletics.
Penn State can also be found on Periscope, a Twitter-owned platform for streaming live video content. Penn State broadcasted its first “scopes” this year, spotlighting the beginning of THON 2016 and one of Mike the Mailman’s final workdays before retirement.
