Judges still needed for April 6 Undergraduate Exhibition

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — With the April 6 Undergraduate Exhibition less than a week away, there remains a substantial need for volunteers to judge student research posters, with the greatest shortfall in engineering and the life sciences. Judges play a critical role in the event’s success, providing the primary audience for student poster presentations. The Office of Undergraduate Education is seeking faculty and graduate student volunteers to assure judging coverage for more than 250 posters and 350 student presenters, an all-time high participation in the annual exhibition.

The Undergraduate Exhibition is open to students at all Penn State campuses and will take place on Wednesday, April 6, in the HUB-Robeson Center at University Park. Volunteers sign up for one of three 90-minute judging sessions (9:30 to 11 a.m.; 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; 12:30 to 2 p.m.). Information about the Undergraduate Exhibition and an online Judge Volunteer Form can be found at undergradresearch.psu.edu. Questions may be directed to Mary Beth Crowe, assistant vice president and assistant dean for Undergraduate Education, 814-863-1864 or mbc5@psu.edu.

The Undergraduate Exhibition is presented by Penn State Undergraduate Education. Learn more about Undergraduate Education at undergrad.psu.edu.
