An experienced and well-versed multimedia journalist from CNNMoney is set to present a free public lecture on campus at the end of March.
Leezel Tanglao, senior multi-platform editor at CNNMoney, will discuss “Creating Your Metric Success: How to Navigate the Changing Digital World” at 6 p.m. March 31 in 162 Willard Building on the University Park campus of Penn State. The visit is coordinated by the Office of Multicultural Affairs in the College of Communications and AHANA -- the African, Hispanic, Asian and Native American student club.
Tanglao leads CNNMoney’s digital war room, and oversees the presentation and packaging of the website’s multimedia editorial content across desktop, mobile and social. The versatile journalist previously worked at CBS, VICE News, NowThis News, ABC News, CBS 2/KCAL 9 and The Press-Enterprise.
An active member of the Asian American Journalists Association and the Online News Association, Tanglao graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English from Loyola Marymount University and a master’s degree in Asian-American studies from the UCLA.
