Center for Online Innovation in Learning seeking applicants for research funding

Submissions will be accepted through May 13

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Center for Online Innovation in Learning (COIL) is accepting proposals for its spring 2016 round of research grant funding.

COIL’s Research Initiation Grant Program provides seed funding to Penn State researchers whose projects have the potential to enhance teaching and learning through online innovations. It is expected that most of the project teams funded by COIL will use the preliminary evidence to pursue external funding for larger-scale studies.

The deadline for submissions for the spring 2016 round of funding is May 13.

The mission of COIL is to guide the transformation of teaching and learning processes by supporting researchers who invent, investigate and implement the effects of technologically enhanced learning environments.
