Freyberger Gallery presents 'Forsyth and Farrell'

The Penn State Berks Freyberger Gallery will present the exhibition "Forsyth and Farrell" from March 17 to April 21. There will be an opening reception at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 17. This event is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be served.

Artist and architect Amy Forsyth designs award-winning sculptural and functional furniture, builds and plays musical instruments, teaches design at Lehigh University, and creates striking sketch books. Charles Farrell parallels her endeavors as an architect, songwriter, and painter of large-scale allegorical images and portraits. Both are Penn State alumni and have taught courses in the University’s College of Arts and Architecture. They have become a creative team, each pursuing his or her own original endeavors, and also serving each other as muse and critic. The exhibit features paintings, furniture, sketch books, and tools of the artists.

The Freyberger Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday; and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. For more information, contact Marilyn Fox, gallery director, at 610-396-6140 or via email at mjf14@psu.edu.
