CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — During the weekend of Feb. 19-21, three Lehigh Valley students joined hundreds of other Penn State students in a 46-hour, no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon, affectionately known as THON, to raise money for the fight against pediatric cancer. The Lehigh Valley campus was represented by Megan Marzella, Natalie Schaeffer and Adam Ebner. Through their yearlong efforts, the Penn State Lehigh Valley team raised $31,094.02. The Lehigh Valley total was the sixth highest out of Penn State's 19 Commonwealth Campuses. In total, THON raised $9.8 million for the Four Diamonds Fund.

Penn State Lehigh Valley Benefiting THON achieved their total through a mixture of fundraising activities throughout the year, including a date auction, silent auction, a Mr. & Miss Lehigh Valley pageant, and a 5K run/walk.
