Penn State Residential Dining to support THON attendees, dancers

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Residential Dining will be hosting a hot chocolate giveaway in front of the All-Sports Museum on Friday, Feb. 19, from 1 to 4 p.m. for THON supporters to enjoy as they wait to enter the Bryce Jordan Center for THON weekend.

Residential Dining will also be donating 175 pizzas to help fuel the 708 registered THON dancers during the weekend.

The free hot chocolate and pizzas serve as a token of Residential Dining’s appreciation for THON participants’ hard work in the fight against pediatric cancer. Full-time employees of Residential Dining will also wear blue T-shirts that say “We Support THON” in white writing and student employees will wear stickers and pins to demonstrate their support.
