The Penn Stater magazine seeks memories of studying abroad

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Do you have a story from studying abroad in college? The Penn Stater magazine wants to hear about it.

Maybe you sailed around the world during a “Semester at Sea” or spent a spring in Seville, Spain. Or maybe you landed an internship or volunteered in a foreign country one summer. If you spent part of your Penn State education abroad, we want to hear about the places you went, the people you met, and the lessons — and languages — you learned. Did the experience create global friendships, shape your career path or provide lasting memories?

Tell us.

Stories (300 words or less) can be emailed to pennstater@psu.edu or mailed to The Penn Stater magazine, Hintz Family Alumni Center, University Park, PA 16802. Submissions should include an address and a daytime phone number.

The best tales will be printed in an upcoming issue of The Penn Stater magazine. Submissions are due by March 1, and may be edited for length and clarity.
