Did You Know? Penn State offers a tobacco cessation program

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Trying to stop smoking or using smokeless tobacco? Consider calling a coach to help you.

Take Control, a confidential, 12-week telephonic tobacco cessation program provides professional support to help you set up your own workable plan and guide you through it.

Take Control will pair you with a personal coach who will motivate you and provide support every step of the way. The coaches are trained in behavioral change and use effective strategies. They can also provide assistance in choosing and obtaining free tobacco-cessation products that are offered to Penn State Highmark members.
