Blue-White Game set to kick off at 2 p.m. on April 16

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The culmination of Penn State football's spring practices is the Blue-White Game, which is set for Saturday, April 16, at 2 p.m. in Beaver Stadium. The Blue-White Game is the centerpiece for a full weekend of Penn State activities April 15-17.

The game will air live on the Penn State Sports Network and GoPSUsports.com. The game will not be televised live. More details on the Blue-White Weekend will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Blue-White Game is the University's unofficial annual spring reunion. Last year, an estimated 68,000 fans were in attendance. The Blue-White Game has drawn more than 50,000 fans in seven of the past nine years, which includes four crowds of 70,000 or more.

Among the slate of athletics events for Blue-White Weekend are: women's tennis vs. Northwestern (Friday at 4:30 p.m.), softball versus Maryland (Friday at 6 p.m.; Saturday at 4 p.m.; Sunday at 1 p.m.), men's golf hosting Rutherford Invitational (Saturday and Sunday), women's tennis versus Illinois (Sunday at 11 a.m.) and men's lacrosse versus Johns Hopkins (Sunday at 7 p.m.).
