CLGBTE to celebrate 25 years of progress with anniversary gala April 21

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Commission for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Equity (CLGBTE) will be celebrating 25 years of advocacy and progress within the Penn State community with an anniversary gala April 21.

Since 1991, CLGBTE has served as an advisory group to the president of Penn State and has worked to improve the climate of diversity by addressing issues that impact lesbian, gay and transgender members of the University community. The commission seeks to initiate and promote programs and policies that make the environment equitable and supportive of the LGBT community.

The CLGBTE 25th Anniversary Gala is open to all members of the Penn State community and will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, in the ballroom of the Nittany Lion Inn. Tickets are free but require advance reservation at http://tinyurl.com/nvw4h9h. Please reserve only one ticket per person.
