HERSHEY, Pa. — Representatives from Spirit Halloween recently presented $59,400 to the Child Life Program at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. The money was raised from the annual Spirit of Children campaign at nine local Spirit Halloween stores.

Each fall, Spirit Halloween stores across the country launch a couponing effort that allows shoppers to take 10 percent off of their purchases. In turn, Spirit Halloween provides another 10 percent to local children’s hospitals.

To date, the Spirit of Children campaign has generated more than $239,000 for the Children's Hospital's Child Life Program.
