ERIE, Pa. — The Penn State Behrend men's basketball team has won 13 consecutive games and is ranked 23rd in the nation, according to the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll.
The college's track, volleyball, swimming and diving teams also were in action last week. Here are the highlights.
Men's basketball
Penn State Behrend 74, Pitt-Bradford 58
Penn State Behrend 71, Penn State Altoona 44
The team has won 13 consecutive games and is now ranked 23rd in the nation, according to the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll. The Lions shot 40 percent from beyond the 3-point line in the win over Penn State Altoona.
Women's basketball
Pitt-Bradford 69, Penn State Behrend 66
Penn State Behrend 71, Penn State Altoona 55
Erika Woll, a sophomore from Erie, scored 19 points in the win over Penn State Altoona. She had a career-high five 3-pointers.
Men's track and field
The distance-medley relay team set a school record and a top Division III time at Spire, in Geneva, Ohio. They finished in 10:10.35.
Women's track and field
The Lions won the 4x800-meter relay with a time of 10:06.45 at Spire, in Geneva, Ohio.

Victor Nguyen, a senior from San Jose, won the 100- and 200-meter breaststroke events against Pitt-Bradford. He also swam in the 200-meter medley relay, which the Lions won with a time of 1:41.58.

Saint Vincent 211, Penn State Behrend 42
Gwendolyn Lowery, a sophomore from Bellefonte, won the 200-meter individual medley in the tri-meet against Allegheny and Saint Vincent. She finished in 2:17.49.
