UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The State College chapter of the American Association of University Women (AAUW), among the oldest and most resilient nonprofit groups in the country, is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Founded on Feb. 18, 1916, AAUW’s mission to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research has enriched the community.

Centennial themed programs will be held in honor of the milestone, including an "archives roadshow" in the Barbara Hackman Franklin Atrium in Pattee Library and another on the first floor of the HUB-Robeson Center. Both exhibits open this month and continue through March 31.
