TIAA-CREF to offer informational seminars on upcoming retirement program changes

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — TIAA-CREF will provide informational seminars to help participants learn more about the upcoming changes to the Penn State retirement program investment lineup.

Two on-site seminars will be conducted at the University Park campus, and there will be four live webinars available for those who cannot attend in person.

All participants in the Penn State retirement program were mailed a transition guide in mid-December describing the upcoming changes to the lineup, which will take effect on Jan. 25.

The on-site seminars will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13, and at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 19, both in 117 John Bill Freeman Auditorium in the HUB-Robeson Center on the University Park campus. No registration is required for either on-site seminar.

A series of live webinars will also be held and participants may call in with questions. Registration for the webinars is required.

The webinars will be held as follows:

  • Noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 7
  • 9 to 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 15
  • 4 to 5 p.m., Friday, Jan. 15
  • 3 to 4 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 20
