NLC members able to request bowl tickets; Bowl packages available Sunday

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Nittany Lion Club members can request tickets for Penn State’s possible bowl destination prior to Sunday’s bowl selection announcement through Account Manager. In addition, Nittany Lion Club and Penn State Alumni Association members will have an opportunity to request bowl tour packages starting Sunday evening, Dec. 6, in advance of the public sale on Dec. 9.

The Nittany Lions are eligible to participate in their 46th bowl game. Penn State is tied for third nationally with 28 bowl victories and is No. 2 in bowl winning percentage with a 28-15-2 post-season record (64.4). Bowl selections will be announced by early Sunday evening.

As a benefit of membership, Nittany Lion Club members can log onto Account Manager at GoPSUsports.com/bowlcentral to review the listing of the Big Ten-affiliated bowl games that Penn State could be selected to play in. Nittany Lion Club members can then select the bowls they are interested in purchasing tickets for. Credit cards will not be charged until Penn State’s bowl destination and opponents are revealed on Sunday.

Nittany Lion Club members can also call 1-800-NITTANY, weekdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., to request bowl tickets. NLC members have until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8 to request their bowl tickets. All NLC ticket requests received by this date and time will be allocated based on NLC point totals. The ability to request tickets does not guarantee a Nittany Lion Club member will receive tickets from Penn State’s allotment.

Nittany Lion Club and Penn State Alumni Association members will be able to purchase bowl tour packages that are part of Penn State's Official Bowl Tour. Tour package options, which include game tickets, and information will be available beginning Sunday evening, Dec. 6, at GoPSUsports.com/bowlcentral.
