UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.—Penn State students and State College residents alike are encouraged to participate in the 10th annual SCOPE 5K. Proceeds go to the College of Education’s summer college program for aspiring teachers from multicultural backgrounds, which is a four-week residential academic program preparing high school students for college.
This year’s run/walk event is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, at Chambers Building on the University Park campus and will be accompanied by a kid’s carnival from 2-4 p.m with music, games and food.
