UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence will present a free workshop titled, "Using Tests and Rubrics to Promote Learning," from 12:45 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6, in 201 Chambers Building on Penn State's University Park campus. The workshop will be repeated from 12:45 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, in 315 Rider Building.
This workshop, presented by research associate Chas Brua and graduate consultants Lauren Brooks and David Favre, will focus on ways for participants to make sure their tests are functioning accurately and fairly in determining what students have learned.
