Coming Out Week schedule announced

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — While the rest of the country celebrates National Coming Out Day (Oct. 11 this year), Penn State celebrates Coming Out Week. Beginning on Monday, Oct. 12, with the HUB Takeover, the LGBTQ community has a lot to look forward to, including lectures and a pride rally at Old Main.

Appearances will be made by famous members of the LGBTQA community — Todrick Hall, April Haynes, Peaches Christ and Lea Delaria will be hosting various events. There will also be a discussion titled “Is Faith Straight?” co-hosted by the Center for Spiritual & Ethical Development and the LGBTQA Student Resource Center.
