UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State General Stores, the University’s exclusive provider of office and janitorial products, will host an open house from 8-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 167 Office of Physical Plant (OPP) Building.
Current and prospective customers will have an opportunity to learn more about General Stores and the money- and time-saving products and services it offers to all 24 Penn State locations across the Commonwealth.
Specifically, the open house will allow attendees to:
- Learn about General Stores’ core products that offer significant savings to customers.
- Learn how to place a General Stores order on eBuy.
- Learn how to process a General Stores return.
- See how General Stores receives and processes core campus freight.
- Learn what “green” products are available to the Penn State community.
- Speak with OfficeMax representatives about a variety of products.
- Learn about the General Stores cylinder gas program.
- Learn how to process a cylinder order and return.
The open house also gives the General Stores staff the opportunity to meet with customers in order to continue to provide smooth, efficient, convenient, and cost-effective services to the Penn State community.
Door prizes will be available to those who attend the open house.
