Blue & White Society hosts spirit week at Lehigh Valley campus

Spirit Week culminates in the Blue & White Society Bash on Oct. 8

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — The Penn State Lehigh Valley chapter of the Blue & White Society, the student branch of the Penn State Alumni Association, will host a Homecoming Spirit Week from Oct. 5-8 at the Lehigh Valley campus.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to dress according to each day’s theme during Spirit Week to show their Penn State pride. The theme’s include:

  • Oct. 5: Monday Blues
  • Oct. 6: Throw Back Tuesday, where everyone on campus is invited to wear pink and black to represent Penn State’s original colors.
  • Oct. 7: White Out Wednesday
  • Oct. 8: Penn State Fan Day, where everyone on campus is invited to wear their favorite Penn State attire.

Spirit Week will culminate with a Blue & White Society Bash from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, at the student plaza located on the north side of the Lehigh Valley campus.

The event is being held in recognition of the 20th birthday of the Blue & White Society.

Penn State students, faculty and staff are invited to come enjoy food, games, music and prizes. The event is free and is being supported by the student activity fee.
