Barron's Sept. 24 'Higher Education in Focus' program available to view online

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Sept. 24 WPSU broadcast of President Eric Barron's "Higher Education in Focus" is now available for viewing online. The episode focused on "Discover the Arts at Penn State."

"Higher Education in Focus" is a monthly, 30-minute program hosted by Barron, highlighting several University-related topics.

As part of the episode, Barron welcomed Barbara Korner, dean of the College of Arts and Architecture; Brian Alfred, assistant professor at Penn State’s School of Visual Arts; and Natalia Pilato, a doctoral student in the University’s art education program. The group discussed how people encounter, engage with and participate in art at Penn State.  

A student-hosted segment also debuts this season as Lauren Doyle, a senior majoring in both broadcast journalism and theater with a dance concentration, will interview Barron toward the end of each broadcast.
