Ethics and Compliance announces new investigations specialist

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Jeff Bowman has joined Penn State’s Office of Ethics and Compliance as the new compliance specialist – investigations.

With more than 20 years of investigative experience, Bowman will be responsible for the Penn State Hotline and other misconduct matters managed by the Ethics and Compliance Department. He will also serve as a resource on investigative matters to compliance partners throughout the University. Bowman will be developing standard investigative protocols and other tools that will help all of those employees charged with fact finding or investigative responsibilities.

Bowman comes to Penn State from Corporate Security and Investigations Inc., a highly respected private investigations firm where he served as director of investigations for the last seven years. He previously served with the Pennsylvania State Police for 14 years, where his assignments included a wide range of criminal investigative responsibilities as well as on the governor’s Executive Service Team, providing high level security for the governor and other dignitaries. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and the Pennsylvania National Guard.
