Investigators invited to Kerafast information session Sept. 23

An information session with Kerafast will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 11:30 a.m. in room C1742, at Penn State College of Medicine. The session, sponsored by the Office of Technology Development, is open to all investigators.

Kerafast is a company focused on growing and fostering a global community of scientists advancing life science research by facilitating access to bioresearch materials directly from the scientific community. Working with investigators, Kerafast aids in furthering scientific progress by providing or procuring novel bioresearch materials, which allow scientists to accelerate their own research and reinvest resources back into their laboratory. Kerafast works with more than 100 research institutions around the world and sells reagents to academic and for-profit customers in more than 40 countries.

Matt Takvorian, director of business development, will discuss Kerafast’s business model, how investigators can engage with the company and field specific questions.
