UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — With Homecoming Weekend less than a month away (Oct. 9–11), check out the Penn State Alumni Association's list of events and make plans now to spend some time at University Park for the annual event that draws thousands of Penn Staters back to Happy Valley.In the week leading up to the Oct. 10 noon kickoff against Indiana, the Alumni Association’s two student groups, Blue & White Society and Lion Ambassadors, each participate and compete in various events, including a dance competition and concert, talent show, carnival and other events that highlight Penn State’s history and traditions.In addition to the Alumni Zone post–game tailgate, a host of other opportunities offer alumni a chance to show their Penn State pride and connect with friends, classmates, and other Penn Staters, while celebrating this year’s theme: “A Legacy to Shape the Future!”
