Anthropologist kicks off life sciences series on Sept. 29

As the first guest for "Boundaries of the Human in the Age of the Life Sciences,"  Agustín Fuentes will be giving an advanced seminar, following his public lecture, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 29 in 121 Borland on Penn State's University Park campus. The seminar will be followed by a light lunch.

An anthropologist based at the University of Notre Dame, Fuentes' work has been central to re-evaluating how we understand the "natural" in humanity. He is the author of "Evolution of Human Behavior" (Oxford University Press) and "Race, Monogamy, and other lies they told you: busting myths about human nature" (UC Press), among numerous other publications.

To participate in the seminar and to acquire the readings, RSVP to arts-humanities@psu.edu.
