UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The second in an ongoing series of Penn State Town Hall meetings with Provost Nick Jones and Senior Vice President David Gray to discuss necessary strategic and operational changes at Penn State is planned for 3:30 to 5 p.m. Sept. 30, in the Freeman Auditorium at the HUB-Robeson Center on the University Park campus.

The meeting, part of a continuing effort to discuss important issues facing the University, is an opportunity for faculty and staff to talk with leadership about the direction of Penn State, and to discuss its strengths, challenges and future opportunities. The meeting is being sponsored by Penn State Today and the University Staff Advisory Council (USAC) as an avenue for the internal community to stay informed about pending changes and to ask questions or share concerns and ideas.

Jones and Gray plan to speak on a variety of topics and will answer questions submitted by the audience. The session will be streamed live online at wpsu.org/live. Faculty and staff at Commonwealth Campuses also will be able to submit questions via email and Twitter.

Jones and Gray are encouraging participants and viewers to submit questions or discussion points in advance via email to questions@psu.edu. During the meeting, participants can submit question by email, and by Twitter using the hashtag #PSUstrong. Members of the audience also will be able to submit written questions anonymously. In all cases, names of the submitters will not be shared.

In addition to a June 2, 2015 University-wide town hall event, Jones and Gray also held a meeting for Office of Physical Plant employees in July. Future meetings, messages and events will be announced on an ongoing basis.
