Mike Tyson to take on Bryce Jordan Center Oct. 25

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- After a highly successful bout on Broadway, followed by a U.S. tour and HBO special, Mike Tyson will take his acclaimed one-man show, “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth,” to Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center. The show is set for 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25.

Directed by Academy Award nominee Spike Lee, “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth” offers a rare, personal look inside the life and mind of one of the most feared men ever to wear the heavyweight crown. Aside from having been the undisputed heavyweight champion, “Iron Mike" holds the record as the youngest boxer to win the WBC, WBA and IBF world heavyweight titles, and he was the first heavyweight fighter to hold all three titles simultaneously. In 2011, Tyson was inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame.

Tyson’s ability to work a crowd extends far beyond the ring. His career in entertainment spans blockbuster movies such as “The Hangover” and “The Hangover 2,” and television shows such as Animal Planet’s “Taking on Tyson.” Tyson is also the CEO of his own production company, Tyrannic Productions, and currently has a few film projects in development.

Tickets are available now at the Bryce Jordan Center, Eisenhower Auditorium and the Penn State Downtown Theatre, as well as at 800-745-3000 and www.ticketmaster.com. University Park students also have a limited amount of tickets available at $20 off courtesy of UPAC (University Park Allocation Committee).
