UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Blue & White Society will welcome new and returning students this week — and celebrate its 20th birthday — with its annual fall semester kickoff event, Blue & White Bash. The Bash will be held from 5–7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27 at the Hintz Family Alumni Center on the University Park campus.

All University Park students are invited to attend the fun-filled evening of free food and entertainment before the stresses of the fall semester arrive. Enjoy birthday cake, Penn State Berkey Creamery ice cream, games, and appearances by campus celebrities.

Blue & White Society members can pick up their limited-edition T-shirt at the event, and join one of the organization’s committees to stay involved throughout the year. Students wishing to join the Blue & White Society can do so at the Bash as well.

After 20 years, the student membership of the Penn State Alumni Association has grown to be the largest and one of the most active student organizations at Penn State. The annual Bash is just one of the many events Blue & White Society students plan.

The Blue & White Society is the student membership of the Penn State Alumni Association, with chapters at campuses across the Commonwealth. With more than 9,000 members, it is the largest and one of the most active student organizations at Penn State. The Blue & White Society plans many events on campus each year while also participating in events such as THON, Homecoming, Relay For Life, and various community service programs.
