College of Medicine seeks nominations for 2015 Innovation Awards

The Office of the Vice Dean for Research and Graduate Studies and the Office of Technology Development at Penn State College of Medicine invite all Penn State Hershey faculty, staff and students to submit nominations for the 2015 Innovation Awards.

Nominations are open for the following award categories:

Innovator of the Year

Investigator to Watch

Student Award for Excellence in Innovation

This year’s celebration will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the University Conference Center. The event highlights innovative and entrepreneurial faculty, staff and students who proudly represent a wide variety of departments and areas of research.

The evening will feature remarks by Penn State Hershey leadership, dinner and a keynote address. The program recognizes individuals who have had an innovative idea move forward through the execution of a licensing agreement, start of a company based on a Penn State Hershey technology or patent issuance between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015. The culmination of the event is the announcement of the Student Award for Excellence in Innovation, Investigator to Watch and Innovator of the Year.
