UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Equipment deliveries to the West Campus Steam Plant will close a section of Burrowes Road between the north and south entrances of Reber Building 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. Aug. 12, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Aug. 13, and 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. Aug. 17.
The entrance to Lot Brown A between Reber Building and Hammond Building will remain open, with the bollards removed to allow vehicle access from the south end of the lot. The entrance to Lot Brown A between Reber and Deike Building will remain open, as will the entrance to ARL and Walker Building.
As a result of these road closures, there will be no CATA bus service to Burrowes Road on Aug. 12, 13 and 17, as detours will be in effect in this vicinity. Routes specifically affected are the A, B, C, F, G, K, M, S, XB and XG Routes. Passengers normally boarding or de-boarding on Burrowes Road are encouraged to use the alternative bus stops located at the Walker Building, College Avenue and Allen Street, Pattee Library and Schlow Centre Region Library during this time.
Campus Shuttle stops 9 (Reber Building), 10 (IST/Hosler) and 11 (Recreation Hall) will also be closed on Aug. 12, 13 and 17.
