Molly Ringwald to talk about 'The Breakfast Club' at Penn State York

Event includes screening of film, Q&A with actress

A 30th anniversary screening of everyone’s favorite coming-of-age dramedy, “The Breakfast Club,” followed by an interactive discussion and Q&A with Molly Ringwald, is set for 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 10 at Penn State York’s Pullo Family Performing Arts Center.Tickets for Ringwald Revisits the Club are on sale now, $125 VIP or $45 general (plus applicable service fees). Penn State York students can purchase one ticket at the special price of $23 (not VIP). Tickets can be purchased at the Pullo Center Box Office, charge by phone at 717-505-8900, or online at pullocenter.yk.psu.edu. A limited number of VIP tickets are available that include a meet and greet with Ringwald.Ringwald’s diverse career has included movies (“Pretty in Pink" and “Sixteen Candles”), Broadway (“Enchanted April” and “Cabaret”), music (jazz recording “Except Sometimes”), and writing (“When It Happens to You” and “Getting the Pretty Back”). “The Breakfast Club” is known as one of the quintessential 1980s film and is considered as one of the best films of the decade. The film was ranked #1 on Entertainment Weekly’s list of the 50 Best High School Movies (2010). Ringwald was ranked #1 on VH-1’s 100 Greatest Teen Stars (2011).
