Penn State Hershey honors long-time volunteer

Angelina Marnickas is the 2015 recipient of the Senior Corps of PA Legacy Award for her commitment to enhancing the lives of others — an award given to only one Pennsylvanian each year. Marnickas has an 11-year history of service at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, most recently in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit where she has volunteered up to six hours per week for the last two years. She is also an active volunteer at the Hershey Public Library and contributes to the Ronald McDonald House. She began volunteering for the Retired Senior Volunteer Persons in Pottsville and continued her legacy of service after moving to the Hershey area.
