Homeowner’s Guide to Stormwater Workshop hosted on June 27

The Penn State Agriculture and Environment Center will host a Homeowner’s Guide to Stormwater Workshop from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 27. The workshop will be held at the Harris Township Building located at 224 East Main Street in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania. This event is free and open to the public.

Stormwater is a serious issue that affects our water quality. There are steps homeowners can take properties to minimize its impacts and improve our streams.

Attend the June 27 workshop to learn what stormwater is, why it can be a problem and steps you can take to mitigate issues with our water quality. This workshop will demonstrate how to use the Homeowners Guide to Stormwater to develop and implement a stormwater management plan on your own property.

This free community workshop is specifically intended for local homeowners, but all are welcome to attend. Registration is currently open. Space is limited: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/83JNG56.
