The Student Nursing Association of Pennsylvania (SNAP) is sponsoring a blood drive from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 4 at Rec Hall.
While 40 percent of the U.S. population is eligible to give blood, only less than 5 percent actually do. Interested donors can schedule an appointment and find information about eligibility requirements at www.redcrossblood.org.
The goal for the drive is to collect 29 units of blood to meet the demands of local hospitals and clinics that need blood products for their patients.
