Penn State Lehigh Valley chancellor honored as 2015 Woman of Influence

Ann Williams selected by Lehigh Valley Business

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — On May 19, over 400 people joined Lehigh Valley Business and sponsors to honor 25 Women of Influence from the Greater Lehigh Valley area for their contributions to their companies, industries and communities. Ann M. Williams, chancellor of Penn State Lehigh Valley, was one of the honorees.

Williams has been with the campus for the past 15 years. During her tenure, she orchestrated the campus move from Fogelsville to Center Valley. Her vision in recognizing the opportunity to move to Center Valley and her work with and dedication to her students has resulted in an exponential increase in enrollment at Penn State Lehigh Valley. Her leadership at the campus and her advocacy for students to become involved in community service has served as an inspiration to many. Williams will be retiring on June 30, but her can-do spirit will be with the campus long after.

The Women of Influence winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges who reviewed the nominees and gave them scores based on their achievements.
