UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State Educational Office Professionals (PSEOP) recognized meritorious service in the areas of professionalism and leadership at its spring reception May 6 at the Nittany Lion Inn.
Juls Kralik was honored as the 2015 Outstanding Office Professional Award winner for University Park. Kralik is an administrative support coordinator in the College of Engineering. She was recognized for providing exceptional meritorious service on behalf of Penn State in the areas of professionalism, initiative, leadership skills, self-improvement and volunteerism. Kralik was presented with a $75 award, a framed certificate, a nameplate on a perpetual plaque and a one-year membership to PSEOP.
Cherish McAulay, administrative support coordinator in the Center for Molecular Toxicology & Carcinogenesis, received the Lisa Brungart Leadership Award. Named in memory of a former PSEOP member who passed away in December 2008, the award recognizes a PSEOP member who exhibits exemplary performance, shows outstanding spirit and teamwork, and carries out the duties of his or her position with integrity and dedication. McAulay received a $150 award, a certificate and a plaque.
Ruth Ann Herstek was honored as the 2015 Outstanding Office Professional Award winner for the campus location. Herstek is an administrative assistant at Penn State New Kensington. She was recognized for providing exceptional meritorious service on behalf of Penn State in the areas of professionalism, initiative, leadership skills, self-improvement and volunteerism. Herstek was presented with a $75 award, a framed certificate, a nameplate on a perpetual plaque and a one-year membership to PSEOP.
PSEOP is an organization dedicated to increasing the level of professionalism of Penn State’s office personnel and staff through continuing development. Membership is open to all current and retired Penn State office employees at all locations.
