Penn State Beaver students elect campus government, THON leaders

The Penn State Beaver student body has elected Student Government Association (SGA) officers and the THON chair for 2015-16.

Sophomore communications major Brianna D’Itri was elected president of SGA and junior administration of justice major P. Daniel Kovalesky was elected vice president. The secretary will be Christopher Bedillion, a junior business accounting major, and Amy Arnold, a junior business major, was re-appointed as treasurer.

Freshman science major Randy Meskow was elected chair of the THON Committee. The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, known as THON, is a yearlong effort to raise funds and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer at all Penn State locations. In 2015 the Beaver campus THON Committee raised more than $6,000.
