At a special ceremony held April 22, Charles Patrick, chancellor and chief academic officer of Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, led the induction of 37 students into the Pi Sigma Phi honor society, which promotes higher standards of learning and encourages high scholastic attainment. Every student with a 3.5 or better grade-point average after completing at least 30 credits at Penn State Fayette is eligible for lifetime membership.
In his remarks that day, Patrick noted how the students’ high expectations for themselves have resulted in high achievement. “We are proud of our Pi Sigma Phi students and the excellence they bring to our campus,” said the chancellor. “Their positive attitude, coupled with determined purpose, leads to a successful and productive life.”
