WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — William Ma, professor of mathematics at Pennsylvania College of Technology, jointly authored a paper that was published recently in an international journal, Complex Analysis and Operator Theory.
The paper, titled “Two-Point Distortion for Nehari Functions,” was written with two other mathematicians: Diego Mejia of Universidad Nacional, Colombia, and C. David Minda of the University of Cincinnati. The work was initiated when the authors participated in a research seminar at the Charles Phelps Taft Research Center at the University of Cincinnati.
Complex Analysis and Operator Theory publishes current research developments in complex analysis and operator theory, as well as applications in system theory, harmonic analysis, probability, statistics, learning theory and other related fields. The journal is published by Springer, a global publishing company headquartered in Berlin and devoted to science, technical and medical publishing.
Ma holds a doctorate and a master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Northwest University. He has published over 50 research papers and given more than 20 invited presentations at international and national conferences.
