UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The University Faculty Senate will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, in 112 Kern Building on the University Park campus of Penn State, with agenda items to include the results of the 2015-16 Senate elections.
Other agenda items include:
- A vote on revisions to the general education curriculum;
- A vote on recommended changes to the Senate policy that covers class attendance;
- A resolution on open access to scholarly publications;
- A vote on making recommendations to change the University's life insurance benefits.
- A presentation and discussion on faculty teaching workloads; and
- An update on the Joint Diversity Awareness Task Force.
