On Tuesday, April 14, Penn State’s GREEN (Global Renewable Energy Education Network) Program Student Ambassadors will host an information session about immersive sustainability opportunities.

The GREEN Program takes students behind the scenes of leading clean energy and sustainability initiatives, aiming to bridge the gap between textbook learning and real-time industry practices.

"The GREEN Program has a unique and remarkable capacity to push students outside of their comfort zone,” said Penn State junior Taylor Ryan, who completed the Iceland program in May of 2014. “Their program provided me with the most life-changing experience that continues to fuel my passion and determination each day."

The GREEN Program offers hands-on education destinations in Peru, Iceland and Philadelphia for students who are seeking to engage in sustainability beyond the classroom.

To learn more about the GREEN Program, attend the information session at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, in 109 Walker Building on the University Park campus.
