The Penn State BIRCWH (Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women's Health) program welcomes its newest BIRCWH Scholars who will start July 1. They are Dara Babinski, Department of Psychiatry; Dr. Scott Halstead, Department of Pediatrics; and Dr. Dino Ravnic, Department of Surgery.
The Penn State BIRCWH program is an institutional career development award supported by a K-12 grant from the National Institutes of Health to support mentored research career development in interdisciplinary research on women's health or on gender differences related to biology, health or disease.
