Penn State York to honor students, faculty and staff April 19

Penn State York will honor the academic achievements and service of its outstanding students, faculty and staff for the 2014-15 year at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 19, during the 44th annual Academic Awards Ceremony. The event will take place at Heritage Hills Golf Resort & Conference Center, 2700 Mt. Rose Ave., York, Pennsylvania. More than 80 academic and service awards will be presented during the program.

Awards will be presented by a variety of campus groups and several community organizations including the Rotary Club and the Manufacturers’ Association. Highlights of the program include the presentation of the Eric A. and Josephine S. Walker Award, the James H. Burness Awards for Excellence in Teaching and the Penn State York Advising Award. A new award, the Faculty Scholarship and Creative Accomplishments Award, will also be given.Please RSVP your attendance at the event to Cynthia Jones at csj11@psu.edu.
