This week, we recognize four Penn Staters who go above and beyond what's asked of them in their work at the University.

Do you know someone who deserves a shout-out? If you do, consider taking a minute to nominate that person by filling out a short online form. For more information about the process, visit the "We Are!" guidelines

This week, it's thank you to:

Elizabeth Lasher, who worked in Penn State Outreach and now works in the College of Health and Human Development, whose nominator wrote: "Ms. Lasher worked as a career counselor at Penn State, and in that position she always went above and beyond her job duties. She was supportive, accessible and offered encouragement to all the students in Transitions classes (returning adult students)."

Leisha Kreider, at Penn State Hershey, whose nominator wrote:  "Not only is Leisha the consummate professional, but she is also extraordinarily thorough, skillful and creative. Leisha is a hard worker who inspires those around her with her amazing work ethic coupled by her sincere enthusiasm for the work that she does for Penn State Hershey."

Nancy Savel, at Penn State Hershey, whose nominator wrote: "Nancy has served the Emergency Department as a clinical head nurse through several changes in nursing leadership. She is always upbeat, proactive, solution-oriented and effective in her interactions. This is a better place to work because Nancy is here!"

Raffy Luquis, a member of the faculty at Penn State Harrisburg, whose nominator wrote: "We Are a much better program because you take the time to mentor, guide, lead and develop junior faculty... Going above and beyond your job description is much appreciated!"
