Annual wine festival will benefit Children’s Hospital

On Friday, May 8, Journal Multimedia will host the annual Harrisburg Wine Festival at the State Museum of Pennsylvania benefiting Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital Patient- and Family-Centered Care program. A portion of every ticket sold and the proceeds from the on-site silent auction will benefit the program. Over the past 10 years, the Wine Festival has raised more than $665,000 for the Children’s Hospital.

This year’s event will feature 140 vintners and 575 wines from around the world, offering three distinct tastings – a VIP Tasting, a Grand Tasting and a Chairman’s Selection Tasting Seminar with Steve Pollack. The first tastings begin at 5 p.m.

Tickets to the VIP tasting are $125 per person, Grand Tasting tickets are $75 per person and the Chairman’s Selection Tasting Seminar tickets are $100 per person. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.harrisburgwinefest.com.
