UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Blue & White Society and the Penn State Thespians have joined together to host a benefit dinner theatre show for Relay For Life of Penn State. The show, A Night of the Arts, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 10, at Abba Java Coffee House on Locust Lane in State College.
The night will consist of performances by singers, actors, dancers and more. And all for a good cause!
Tickets for A Night of the Arts will be $5 and will be available at the door. Semiformal attire is encouraged but not required for admittance. Food will be catered and Abba Java will be providing coffee, cappuccinos and tea. All proceeds will directly benefit Relay For Life of Penn State.

Relay For Life is an inspiring 24-hour walk-a-thon to represent the fact that cancer never sleeps. Throughout the year, Penn State students and members of the State College community work to raise funds and promote awareness for the American Cancer Society. The Penn State Thespians, founded in 1897, are Penn State’s oldest running club on campus. Those involved in the performances of this event stem from the Penn State Thespians but may also be involved in other performing arts clubs on campus.
The Blue & White Society is the student membership of the Penn State Alumni Association, with chapters at campuses across the Commonwealth. With nearly 10,000 members, it is the largest and one of the most active student organizations at Penn State. The Blue & White Society plans many events on campus each year, including Rally in the Valley, a football pep rally during Homecoming Weekend. Blue & White Society members also participate in campus events such as THON, Homecoming, Relay For Life and various community service programs.
