Annual Survivor Tea to benefit community program

The annual Survivor Tea program is scheduled for noon April 7 in Room 101 of the Classroom Building.

This event is an opportunity for attendees to celebrate survival over life’s challenges, including major obstacles and everyday difficulties. A special guest will present a talk titled “It’s Not Just Black or White: A Personal Victory.”

All donations that are collected at the event will be donated to the local organization Schuylkill Community Action: Bridge House Program. The Bridge House Program is a transitional housing service located in Pottsville. Bridge House provides comprehensive services to persons facing long-term homelessness and provides a supportive, safe environment for adults and children.

The Survivor Tea is sponsored by Penn State Schuylkill and the Penn State Schuylkill Commission for Women. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Email raw44@psu.edu or call 570-385-6102 to register.
