The Penn State Commission for Women will hold a series of open houses for full-time employees interested in learning more about its Mentoring Program.
Hosted by Mentoring Program committee members, the open houses will be held on the following dates:
Wednesday, March 25Noon to 1 p.m.110 Henderson Building
Thursday, April 911:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.252 Erickson Food Science Building
Tuesday, April 2811:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.215 IST Building
Thursday, May 7Noon to 1 p.m.241 Outreach Building
The Mentoring Program promotes professional and personal development for full-time Penn State faculty, exempt and nonexempt staff, and technical service employees by pairing mentees with mentors who can provide advice and resources to help them meet individual and specific professional goals such as career planning, job skills enhancement, and greater University involvement.
The commission will begin accepting online applications by April 1 for mentors and mentees for the 2015–16 academic year.
