This week, we recognize four Penn Staters who go above and beyond what's asked of them in their work at the University.

Do you know someone who deserves a shout-out? If you do, consider taking a minute to nominate that person by filling out a short online form. For more information about the process, visit the "We Are!" guidelines

This week, it's thank you to:

Jennifer Theiss, with the College of Engineering's Development and Alumni Relations, whose nominator wrote: "Jen has built award-winning alumni programs and groups, but she never rests on her laurels. She's innovating with a first-of-its-kind young alumni advisory board in the College of Engineering to build connections with the college's recent grads."

Brian Petrosky, in Undergraduate Education, whose nominator wrote: "As an academic adviser, they don't come any better than Brian! He takes a real interest in his students, always has time for them and their concerns and has endless amounts of patience!"

Leah Raja, in Housing and Food Services, whose nominator wrote: "Leah has the most positive outlook and approach when working with students and staff! Thank you for being part of the Penn State Auxiliary and Business Services team!"

Sarma Pisupati, a faculty member in energy and mineral engineering, whose nominator wrote: "Professor Pisupati deserves recognition for his interactive and always interesting teaching style. He somehow transforms the somewhat dull topic of energy and efficiency into something worth remembering! He's truly an ideal instructor!"
